Left Center Right LCR Dice Game

Left Center RightHere’s a fun game I stumbled upon a couple months ago, & I thought it was worth sharing.

Left Center Right or LCR is a simple dice game that is inexpensive and great for all ages (officially is 3 years and older) .

You need 3 LCR dice, 3 chips, and at least 3 players. (The game comes with colored chips but can be substituted for coins or dollar bills.)

The dice have either an L, C, R or a DOT.

After determining which player starts the game, the first player rolls all three cubes. The number of L’s, C’s R’s or DOTS rolled, dictate where the players chips go.

  • The number of L’s rolled indicates the amount of chips to be passed to the player on the left.
  • The number of R’s rolled indicates the amount of chips to be passed to the player on the right,
  • The number of C’s rolled indicates the amount of chips to be placed in the center pot.
  • The DOTS are neutral and players neither pass nor place chips in the center pot for any DOTS rolled.

When a player has only 1 or 2 chips he only rolls 1 or 2 dice. if a player has no chips, he is still in the game, but passes cubes to the next player. The last player with chips is the winner, does not roll the cubes & wins the center pot.

The game is relatively inexpensive, and can be found for $5-$8.
