My Gas Pump Rewards Program = WINNING!
While filling up my gas tank and watching my dollars spent climb higher & higher. I found myself counting, $10, $20, $30, $40…. and found it similar to being in an arcade watching my ski ball score go up. I thought, what if the gas pumps gave me tickets at the end of my fill up that I could use at a redemption center? I’m not talking about the kiddie redemption center with superballs, tootsie rolls, and cheap stuffed animals. I’m thinking, about beer, scratch tickets, oil changes, car wash, etc.
I know there are gas station rewards cards that give you points when you pump, but seriously… How FUN is that? I’m talking about getting tickets spit out from the gas pump after your fill up. $80 = 8 tickets. Maybe the roll of tickets could have a few “random” bonus tickets in the mix that you might get lucky enough to get. Any why not a “double ticket tuesday” promotion on slower days???
My point (as ridiculous as it may sound) is this, Tickets = Winning!
Now all I need is some gas station owner, or oil company big wig to read this and get me on my way to Winning!
